Frequently asked questions
What counts as a “visit”?
One load of the script on a page of your site, across all the sites in your account, over a calendar month. If you go over the limit, the banner keeps working: we let you know and suggest the next plan up, and we never switch the banner off.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing is charged. Without a plan, the script stops showing the banner and stops blocking: your site never breaks, but it is no longer protected. Your consent records remain available to view and export.
What does the sealed proof contain?
Each choice is chained to the previous one by its hash; every night, the root of the previous day’s log is timestamped by an independent authority (RFC 3161) and anchored via OpenTimestamps. The PDF evidence file brings together the chain, the seals, the texts shown and the services.
Is VAT included?
Prices are shown excluding VAT, and Orbe is for businesses only. What you pay depends on where your business is established:
- France: French VAT at 20% is added.
- Another EU country, with a VAT number confirmed on VIES: no French VAT. You are invoiced excluding VAT under the reverse-charge mechanism and account for VAT in your own country.
- Another EU country, without a valid VAT number: French VAT at 20%.
- Outside the EU (United Kingdom, United States, Switzerland…): no French VAT. Depending on your country, you may have to account for a local tax yourself.
